So I’m shopping in Gonzaga Tokyo today.
Holy watch heaven Batman. IWC, Panerai, Rolex, Omega, Hublot, JLC, Tag, Tudor....etc
All within about 3min walk of each other.

The Tudor store....OMG. Nice selection and reasonably priced, Black Bay types ~$3500-4500.
Rolex has no Subs in stock

Almost bought another Seiko but was able to walk away.

So much watch porn in so little space.

Haha! Yep, winter’s tough on my skin. I keep it at my desk, I just snapped the pic before I lubed up!

  8. Ya in the high rent districts at the manufacturer stores they often have huge selections and seem to do a fair bit of volume. Same as in China. Big prestige thing owning a “classic” watch as locals call them (non fake one) even though some of the fakes now are sooooo good. I have fakes of 5 of the watches I have. I’d never buy a fake if I didn’t have the real thing. Just a weird rule of mine. Guess that way if anyone questioned me I can say ya it’s a fake and I have the real one too.

  9. I have the exact same one. Great value for that watch. I got a great deal on mine. Was my first Hamilton and I’ve bought 2 more since.

  10. Are trying to have that viewable from space? I’m 6,3” and that would be a big watch for me. I just can’t to big watches as I seem to scratch them up way too often so I don’t buy them. I like that one though.

I’m 6’1”+, but somewhat thin (190#). The watch wears much better than specs would dictate. I’m a sucker for nice dive watches. Citizens are some of my favorites.

I agree. Citizen dive watches are ISO 6425, which is the dive watch very; not just WR rated like some others. Plus, I’ll take the accuracy and durability of a quartz over a mechanical any day of the week.

    Dave K DaveK über alles!

I picked up two “new” watches. An early 90s quartz movement Tag and (what I can only guess) is a 40s or 50s Omega.

    Screw crass commercialism!
