Arrive Thursday PM. Got a sweet deal for the Omni that we found about 4 months ago. It is almost as cheap as the dive we stayed in last year.

St. Elmo for steaks on Friday. I literally stumbled on this place last year and had the best steak of my life there. Not exaggerating.

Have tickets for the Indy Mile on Sat., but last year I was too tired to go. . .

Is there a watering hole of choice for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights? For you fun guys I mean. Not Sublet. :D

St Elmos is fantastic. I probably should make a reservation for one of the nights.

Need me to pick you up in the wagon??
St. Elmos is the best you've had? You were already drunk, weren't you....

  9. My dad and I will be driving up from pittsburgh on Sunday morning. Does anyone have any experience with picking up tickets from will call? How much time should I allot for that?

I'd never get drunk before dropping big bucks on dinner. What is the point?

    What are the better options?

Hell, as far as I'm concerned, Ruth's Chris has better steak across the board, but I'm sure you eaten at one of those. I've only eaten at the Indy location, but it beat my St Elmos experience (only twice I should add) hands down. (Minus St.'s shrimp cocktail, which is tasty)

I had one steak at Ruth's (in Philly), and it was good, but not truly memorable like at St. Elmo's last year.

Well, it has been 2 years, maybe I should reinvestigate. I'm always gonna hate that school cafeteria seating thing though.

You probably don't need a lot of exrta time for that....it's at the main entrance at 16th and Georgetown.

Ah man, living down in South Carolina. Sold the bike and bought a sail boat. Different pace but still damn fun. If you're ever down this way look me up and we can head off shore! How many kids you up to now, 16 hundred gazillion?:D
