Oh believe me, my nephew is 15 now and also taller than me....but as I remind him (from Ron) height doesnt substitute for "old man strength"....:D

They'll always be "little men" to me....and you raised him right to have those skills....always nice to take the win!!!

Got the email yesterday and picked up the Hux can today. 3 days for me if Friday was a holiday.

Nothing else to compare it to but I didn’t expect this one to be Hollywood quiet, I think I’d be better off throwing rocks than using 5.56 subs anyway. It’s short and light, I’m not the asshole at the indoor range anymore, and it won’t wreck my family’s hearing (hopefully) if I use it in a home defense situation.

The gas in my face and ejection pattern hardly changed so hopefully the flow through lives up to the hype of running cleaner. I’m sure it’s not the quietest but it checked all of the boxes I need it to. Next will be a trust, a 30 cal can, and a shorty 300 blackout of some variety. That one I’ll worry about getting Hollywood quiet.

It must be a good day to be picking up gun mufflers.

Q Fix in .308 (actually an 8.6 BLK 8" SBR, but not doing that until the paperwork clears on the Porq Chop) with the Thunder Chicken released today and a Q Honey Badger 5.56 pistol with a Trash Panda attached.
The gun on the bottom really likes heavy bullets.

Fuzzy thing courtesy of my seven-year-old range assistant grrrrl.

I had an sig srd on my 300 blk and it was not good at all. That can was relegated to the back of the safe for a few years. The Daniel Defense wave that I use now is very good but there’s so many choices. I was at a dead air demo day and the sandman and nomad were very good. Pew Pew science does very good reviews.

Tranny seems to be the guy marketing the ad, not the actual model.

But, as it's your money, clearly your choice.

In all seriousness I think that Platypus double stack 1911 uses Glock mags. In some ways I like that idea because 2011 Gen 2 mags are not cheap.

Based on the link I posted, they are compatible with Glock magazines.
