Talk about a Methuselah my first ring-a-ding-ding-ding was a Bultaco Metralla. It'd be more than happy to dump anyone on their ass.
My first bike was a 1967 305 Yamaha YM-1. Had iron cylinders and the clutch on the end of the crank. It also had an intermitent oil pump, so it seized with some regularity, but just dump some of the oil from the oil tank into the gas tank and it would fire right up when it cooled down. Mine was shiny purple.
GT185- RD350s- RD400s- Bridgestone 350- RZ350s- RZ/Banshee hybrids. Best sounds I ever heard were Daytona and any given start at a motocross track when two strokes ruled the Earth.
It'll never happen but that is a bike I'd like very much to try, just to experience that power band (don't remember which colour I wish for..)
As a former 2 smoker, and also late night party liquor poster...i can appreciate the gibberish of wordification that assaulted our eyes late last night.Furthermore!! I have a dream, that all of you should post up drunk shitt when possible. I cant wait til OP wakes up,and makes gooder-n hell postifications again tonight
This thread made me wonder why I like two strokes. In the modern world I can not explain or understand it. GET OF MY LAWN!!
Check out the YouTube thread. My first bike was a 175 BSA Bantam. My second bike was also my first racebike: 250cc Montesa Impala Sport
