Several people ate it there over the weekend. One guy on an rc 8 crashed in 9 in front of me and a really nice tz 250 seized going into 1.My spring on my rear shock was maxed out I needed a softer one. Steve can't remember his last name saved my as with getting it somewhat rideable.
Oh I ! Was scared shitless of getting hurt! Several red flags, and one guy face down not moving in 9 was a huge wake up to stay up
That was a track I was always glad to leave in one piece. Button Willow is another rough one out there. I called it Bumpy Willow.
Welp, guess you took that one off my list ! I had a great time, but got damn a track shouldnt be that bumpy!! Props to everyone that races it,and survives. My candy ass likes predominately smooth pavement when im looking to live another day.I remember talking to some Canadians years ago,and they race on that bumpy shit too due to the freezing/thawing.Finding potholes, and bumps mid corner aint my idea of a good time.I don't hate, everyone was super nice! I enjoyed myself, but my ass was super puckered! I think Willow is more for cars and the forgiveness of a roll cage . Will probably go back again next year
been some time since ive been on willow...but yeah - the wind pushing the front at full lean going through 8 - it gets interesting...you literally feel it trying to lift the front...good times. lol
Agreed, went through the "bus stop" corner and turned it into the amber lamps stop. I was fine, but they insisted I ride in the flashy box. Knowing full well it would spook my wife, I climbed aboard.
Corsica was a revelation for me. Just an unbelievable moto destination. Never ending jiggly roads, very clean, French food, very sparsely populated, very little to no traffic... and unbelievably beautiful. Glad I made the detour over here.
