Soooo, what we had was a person (you) showing some irresponsible action by leaving his back door open at night and the police, seeing said open door and knowing that that kind of thing is rather suspicious, enter the house to investigate and confronted a person found in the house. As a practical Libertarian, I support choice.
I don't believe that government needs to play a role in individual freedom.

In my opinion, government should not be criminalizing or legalizing drugs. I rather rely on education.

Primary, I oppose legalization because that is synonymous with taxation which is synonymous with endorsement.
Endorsing should be last business of government. It is bad enough that society is already tolerant.

I found it amusing that the liquor stores had to sue to get in on the sales.

Given a legal choice, I would rather smoke a joint than drink. Although that would kind of make the sitting on the patio with whiskey and cigar awkward. A joint and a cigar would seem...weird

I had a really frustrating and painful discussion with two friends last night. One is a hard-right conservative who thinks that the three strike rule should apply to cannabis possession, and the other is a pothead who thinks that weed cures cancer. I made a rare trip to the Dungeon because I thought there might be an intelligent conversation happening here... Nope.

I give very few fucks whether pot is legal or illegal but to declare a state of emergency because some stoners can not get their weed is fucking ridiculous. My take is get the government out of it as they tend to just screw shit up and you can do what you want as long as it does not affect me in a negative way.

 

Meh...I'm still of the opinion that alcohol is more of a gateway than MJ and far more damaging.
