By far the more spectacular views are a further drive, like go to North rim/Flagstaff,. But to see some of it the drive is quite doable

Agreed, but he was questioning if he could see Death Valley and the Grand Canyon in the same drive. Sure, it's doable but a hell of a lot of driving in one day.

I mean if I rent a Lamborghini, I won't be mad about the drive.

At some point in the winter they (used to?) cut off access to the North Rim, best to check ahead.

They have tour buses that pick you up at your hotel, and take you to the Grand canyon.

Hotels I’d avoid Linq, we’ve enjoyed the Cosmopolitan, Planet Hollywood, and Treasure Island. NY NY was decent but too far down the strip for walking. Venetian was great as was Aria - killer “Euro” pool.

Dining we always hit up Yardbird (think upscale Southern food in an almost fine dining restaurant), Gordon Ramseys “Burgr” is amazing bang for your buck at lunch, and the Baccanal Buffet at Caesar’s is awesome.
Paris hotel has our fav - Mon Ami Gabi - get a patio seat as it’s across from the Bellagio fountains. Killer French bistro priced reasonably and great service and atmosphere.

Shows - Absynthe was AMAZING, O, and the sexy Cirque show - can’t recall the name.
Ferris wheel by Linq was great too if you get the all you can drink.
    Bring comfy shoes!!!

(oh, we thought the legendary Spearmint Rhino sucked but loved a Monday afternoon at a different strip club that had $1 drinks until Monday Night Football then prices “skyrocketed” to $2 each at game time. Can’t remember the name but it was on the way from the Strip to the Fashion Mall just off the main Highway. Dancers were friendly and the cover is waived if you didn’t arrive via taxi).

EDIT: Cirque show is called Zumanity, Peeler place was Treasures.

DO NOT use my previous suggestion of Pearce Ferry if in a Lambo. That will result in your damage deposit being claimed.

Heck, there's lots of great hotels in Vegas. Stardust, The Dunes. Desert Inn, Aladdin, The Sands, Sahara, Riviera...just pick one. Remember you go for the gambling, but stay for the atom bombs.

And make sure you see a show.

I would love to. Momma on the other hand could care less. So I'm throwing in renting an excotic for me to take her to see the Grand Canyon.

I’ve stayed there twice, once on Biz with a client and once with my wife - both times the only good things were the location and price point. it’s not terrible by any means but for not a lot more money other places are big steps up in terms of offerings.

Last stay there was in ‘18, first stay was in ‘16.

Be sure to be ready to spend a few hours in the Lambo waiting for the tow truck to pull you out of the ditch.
The south rim is at 7,000'. In January, snow and ice are more in the possible than the probable. If no snow, temps in the 30s.
In town, daytime in the 50s.

There's a whole sub-economy of kickbacks to taxis in Vegas from titty bars.........my driver on the way to the airport last time (January 2020) gave me the full breakdown.

As far as "clubs" go....Palamino Club is it. They are off strip. But they will send a limo/bus to get you. They are grandfathered in so they are the only full nude place that serves alcohol in Vegas.

What is the rule with taking a rental car out of state? I emailed them.
Buddy told me to check,I may not be able to take the Lamborghini to the Grand Canyon?

I've been to the Palomino. One dancer did the splits the hard way on stage. The staff was scrambling to locate a spatula.

What do you even know what hotel you were staying at, try 62 years. You know I have picked up people who were so drunk they had no idea what hotel they were at.
