    Kind of funny that I know more than a few highly religious people. All of them help others, don’t steal and take care of their families. Progressivism is anti religion and the majority of progressives I have met cannot check the previous three boxes.

    Odd, I know a ton of non religious people who do good things for others all the time and a ton of hypocritical religious folks who do nothing more than posture at church on Sunday. I know religious people who do good things as well as non religious who don't. Really doesn't seem to matter if someone is religious or not come to think of it, the good people do good things whether they worship regularly or even believe and the self centered do nothing no matter what they profess believe or don't.

    Organized religion is a joke to me. The Vatican was created for me to fuck little boys. The Vatican also creates hell to scare people. It doesn’t exist. It’s disgusting. I read an article recently where the Vatican admitted to spending like 4 billion in coffer money worldwide paid out in court settlements for pedophilia. That’s not the money they paid behind closed doors.

    One interesting thing is the theory that the facts are close but the timelines screwed up due to the translators. How long would a day be to god? Could those writing the Bible master the concepts? Of course it could also be false though more than a few historical details have been proven true.

    The best part is you have more in common with the absolutist believer than you do the average church goer.
