You see what happens when Obama is no longer in office. The private sector steps up and fills the void.

 

The fact that the medical provider was willing to accept a penny on the dollar says that the likelihood of payment was tiny. So the truth might be closer to we did not pay the entire $5.25M and people incapable (or unwilling possibly) to pay it can move on with their life. Possibly even become producers without the debt hanging on them (yes most won't).

IMO the reality is neither rainbows and unicorns as they portray nor trolls under the bridge as you do.
