We had the frame braced long before we hired any help. Seamus simply came in and told us what we were doing wrong.
swingarm gussets? nothing completes the look(and feel) of a superbike like a solid swingarm. old version. https://www.harris-performance.com/website/acatalog/sw-ya10002004.jpg new version. http://images.yamaha-racing.com/photo/high/P20081106143216328.jpg
You guys are picky, aren't ya? We got a set of Brembo Monoblocks this week. They're the same ones Factory Yamaha and Pat Clark Motorsports run. The spacing made them somewhat difficult to find since not many race organizations require the use of OEM forks. We were lucky to source them. And Seamus fabricated a captive rear caliper. Also, the bodywork is out for painting. You'll be able to see the bike in action up at the Grattan National.
Dang, that's some purty machinery there. I'd love to see all this stuff up close. Pardon my ignorance, but what are the "tuning plates" for the frame supposed to "tune"? I deal in vintage race bikes so I'm a little out of the loop on some of the modern techniques.
Needed a bit of a clean up but it was ready to go about 2 hrs after the crash. If you watch the crash the bike bounced off him instead of the pavement (before it did the nice ghost ride into the straw)
