Damn near, 16 teams in 4 rounds - each in a 7 game series, no back to backs, plus you have to schedule them around other events the various stadiums may already have scheduled. I have no idea how they get all that done. They cant just use the schedule from last year either...
Just a side note... The original bracket poster that I put at the beginning of this thread seems to be updating itself. I'm not capable to edit shit after 30 minutes or so. Strange.
'Canes put it to the Islanders again and lead that series 3-0. Damn wild card teams just keep winning.
I’ve got some work ahead of me to get a few hedges in. I’ve got islanders and bruins futures for the eastern conference and sharks out west. Sharks also to win this series. Fortunately the islanders/bruins are sized such that I think I can get’em hedged fairly easily. Looks like my night in the hotel tonight will be looking for efficient way to hedge islanders.
This is a great article that one of my old teammates sent me last night...goes way beyond hockey. https://www.duluthnewstribune.com/s...mark-sertich-still-playing-hockey-97-one-ages
Yeah, Isles just aren't playing as well as they did against Pitt. Carolina is the better team right now.
Friggin' hockey... Ya gotta love stress to be a Bruins (any team here) fan. Just a skip in the heartbeat to keep you aware. Doc Emerick elevates the shit even more. No good watching hockey if you don't grit your teeth once in a while...right? I'm wearing mine out watching this series with the CBJ. Fourth game and Chara hasn't blinked yet...scary. Tortorella hasn't exploded...scarier. Anyway back to Beantown for the 5th. Even up. Whew.....
I swear that game looked like the exact opposite of Sundays. I thought the Jackets had better legs but Rask was the goalie tonight. Playoff hockey...the best!
They need to get Mike Milbury off of the Bruins games, he is such a frigging homer. It is a wonder he is not wearing his Bruins sweater in the booth.
I can handle Pierre but Milbury just comes across to me as an insufferable prick. Of course Doc and Eddie are the best two-some in the booth, but Eddie's in the Ville now covering the ponies. I don't even mind Kenny Albert and A.J., but it did take me a couple of games to get used to a woman doing the color. JR cracks me up. I like an color person that doesn't take themself to seriously.
The 'Canes sweep the Islanders. They just ran them out of the building. Stars go up 3-2 after a street fight with St. Louis. WILDCARDS !! Damn.
