No. It was a basic check in the back. I’ve seen harder hits in Bantam games. Blues are outplaying the Bruins, Rask is the only thing keeping them in the game so far.
The disciplined team wins tonight. Rask is having a fantastic game. Youre right, @rd400racer simplicity is now key.
For the record , I cracked open a bottle of Old Fo and fired up a Churchill for this game because it might be the last NHL I see for 4 months. So if I’m more obnoxious than usual, I have an excuse
The Blues are playing a bit like the Flyers; have about 4 or 5 good scoring chances but never converting. In the regular season, if you convert on 1/3 of your good scoring chances youll make the playoffs. No question. In the post season, 40% will get you a cup. And right now, Boston is exhibiting those percentages.
And another simple goal. Bruins pee’d on my forecast. Even though they got battered, they earned it. Rask was an absolute wall.
The worst thing is, I don’t really care who wins this Cup. My allegiance is changed depending on the human interest story each night in the pre-game show. My son is living with and probably going to marry a Boston girl and I would say I coached 100 games in St Louis so I know the town very well. Bottom line, Jenna Fischer was featured tonight so go Blues. If that doesn’t work out, I can drink on Wednesday too
