Participation trophies are for the weak. What a joke!

How much do they vary from a race plaque? Not much of a distinction if you ask me with a lot of the classes.

Incredible for sure. As in once you edit all the crashes together you’ll get an incredible amount of views on YouTube.

 

In fighting is the beginning of the end. I personally have no need for trophies of any kind but certainly don’t mind others going out and getting one. Tracks to survive need to do more than hold any one type of event. And tracks survival is what’s really important these days! So I support any and all groups that support the tracks.

 

From what I read, the awards are for fastest AVERAGE lap times? NOt head to head racing. How bad can it be/get? I guess we're going to find out?

Nobody wins the trackday.

 

I would probably not be a happy customer and sit that session out, so it would be lost track time for me. If it eventually was proven that people did not crash more during this "session", I might go out only to not lose track time. If I wanted trophies, I would go to a real racing weekend.

I am glad this isn't an organization I ride with. I quit going to TPM track days because I lost track time during their "races".

 

The guy you give your money to for the track time is the winner.
