That song that's stuck in your head...

While touring this fall, one song kept me company: Without Expression (the John Mellencamp version).

 

Avenged Sevenfold's So Far Away.....can't get it out of my fuggin head. Plus it has me thinking about my dad, family and friends that I've lost over the years.

 

Damn you....Damn you to the hell of a million small claims cases.

THe TV immediately goes off any time that damn commercial comes on.

 

I gotta get me a tv commercial.

 

Past week has been Iron Man, my son keeps singing it.

Games Without Frontiers. I have no idea why, I haven't actually heard the damned song in years.

 

For some bizarre reason, the last couple of bars of the opening theme music for "Robbery Homicide Division" popped into my head one day last week. It took me about a day to fill in enough of the gaps and figure out what it was.

It drove me batty until I identified it, but then it went away.

I haven't seen the show in 9 years, so go figure.

Good song by Gordon Lightfoot. I've not heard it in awhile so I'll add it to my music list.

For the past several days, (mostly when I'm half asleep) I've been humming "In my daughters eyes" by Martina Mcbride. It's a haunting song that has a lot of meaning to me. I get teary eyed and think about my girls when they were young. I switch back and forth between that and "For the good times".

Ah well, music, it's great unless your humming some jingle from a stupid commercial.
