Lol lol Their words, not mine. As I`ve been saying, not what I believe. But it`s fun to watch people be upset by such a couple words. I am yet to see anyone thank God for winning, as if he did it...But I`m sure someone will show me immediately if so! It`s like God is trolling you guys!
Just an observation. If you've ever said "we won" after some sports team wins a game then you can't say much about thanking God for a win. Neither is rational and one is claiming false achievement. At least the guy thanking God isn't trying to take credit for another's win. And now I'd like to thank my creators... Mom, Dad, thanks for having a few drinks and getting frisky that night in November, 1953. Even if the thought of it makes me a bit queasy, I appreciate the effort.
Nothing is more hilarious to me than watching grown men wearing a teenagers jersey live and die by what happens at a school they never attended.
I hope their sponsors are not that strict to set these requirements in their contracts. I'd have a hard time believing that Monster Energy requires Beaubier and Gerloff to say all that stuff, but not Rossi, Rea, and a whole bunch of other much higher paid MotoGP and WSBK stars. Haven't read much of this thread, but maybe Josh Hayes could chime in on this. He would certainly know and he's on this forum.
What’s really sad is when it’s the jersey (or letterman jacket) THEY wore at the high school they did attend...
Quite simply it is because every time those names get mentioned it is an impression, basically like a hit on a website. There are people that keep track of those impressions and the team uses those numbers to justify their budget to those sponsors. It really is important for the riders to do it. Stickers, patches and banners and such also get factored in.
MotoGP has more viewers so they get more impressions just off of the announcers mentions of the team name than MA riders do altogether for an entire race including the podium.
"Cheese and rice, can't you ask for something more exciting than a good soybean crop once in a while? Have you heard of a little thing called pussy?"
