You might wanna check the time stamp on unfounded allegations of sexual misconduct by men in positions of power. It’s disingenuous at best, outright dishonest at worse, to allege that Pence’s policy is an affront to equality. Knowing you, I know which I suspect it is...
Please explain the recent business culture change of several companies implementing guidelines towards male employees having meetings with female employees. Why has this changed and what are the reasons behind it?
His policy is based on the woman having the power to ruin his career with a false accusation, which part is the inequity?
Please cite where any of these guidelines have to do with the act of a man and woman conducting one on one business together? The guidelines you'd want to cite are no more than employee conduct expectations. You guys may be a little removed from the corporate world to know just how not ok a stance like that would be in the office. And no I don't mean the VPs office.
It absolutely is unless he cites his own lack of morals or control as the reason. Otherwise, he has already cast any woman as a potential predator, liar or fraud who may prey upon him. Therefore, he has lowered the value of that woman as a potential employee, business partner, etc.
The attendance per game written that way even slightly favors the women since there are only 12 teams and probably 1/3 of the regular season games per team. That's likely the best way that stat can be framed for them.
A little removed from the corporation world? LOL. Please, do tell. The guidelines are certainly more then just employee conduct expectations. They were recently implemented explicitly for removing any possibility or otherwise perceived behavior that could be considered as sexual harassment etc. They were explicitly put in place to eliminate any chance of false sexual allegations etc. They were put into place to eliminate all male/female one on one meetings. These policies never existed prior to #metoo movement.
Good Lord. Project much. Nothing like putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 6.5. P.S. It isn’t his morals or control that are in question.
Who did this? Are there no instances of homosexual assault on record and how has the policy addressed those potential situations? Again, L O L at how you're trying to frame this. Show me a US corporation that has explicitly removed as policy all one on one male/female meetings. Not one that has stopped all one on one meetings. Not one that explains to people how they're expected to act in a one on one meeting - just banning male/female meetings.
... Ah, so if all Werthers were eliminated and the potential to make more was also eliminated...that's not an attempt to ban Werther's is it? Just eliminate, which is different in this instance...?
A potential sponsor sets up a meeting with WERA and cancels it when Evelyn shows up alone. Does he respect her as a business woman?
In recent weeks, Taylor said, chief executives of "several major companies have told us they are now limiting travel between the genders," telling men, for example, that they may no longer take female colleagues on business trips or share rental cars with women. https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...22769454f82_story.html?utm_term=.f70d533c4fa6 Google is full of results of outlining just how companies, managers and HR are taking an active position towards eliminating /reducing one on one meetings with men and woman.
Good lord...did you even read that? A bunch anecdotal bs from people who have made that choice themselves and discussion around how #metoo impacted many types of workplaces. Going to need to google for a while longer to try and back up this point.
The sponsor didn’t know Evelyn was a female when setting up said meeting? Or he simply invites Mongo to also attend or another person on his end and has the meeting as planned that includes other people in addition to just himself and her.
Does Mongo own WERA or make all the financial decisions? She is there as a business representative (to say the least) of WERA. Is cancelling this hypothetical meeting respectful to her as a business woman?
