As someone who's BTDT, the opposite of love is not the seething hate when you ponder the vile cunt that stole several years of your life, several tens of thousands of your dollars, aborted the fruit of your loins behind your back, and lied sweetly to your face the whole time. The opposite of love is when you realize that you haven't thought about your ex in a couple of months and really don't get any emotional response when you do.
