    Stock vacuum pump has trouble keeping up on long straights with 41mm carbs.

    First time I've ever heard of that. Maybe you had a slight vacuum leak? The OEM pump keeps up even on my Z built 2mm over :)

    Anything is possible. Mine was a 3mm over with oversized valves, ported heads, spears cams and ram air. I also used a pingel high flow petcock. Bike made 94hp on the local dyno.

    Mine has two stock vaccuum pumps but I'm wondering, Focker, if that is simply causing a choke point in front of the pumps? I suppose the diameter of the petcock might be the limiting factor? Does the fuel pump "push" more fuel through than a vaccuum pump would "pull"?

    Hey....very interested but need to hear more about the motor build and last time it was re-freshed? Did Greg (Spears) build the motor? Bodywork?? spares?
