Lets have an Easter revival of Vintage bikes in West Virginia. Too bad about barber- but how bout a mecca to Summit? It was the first track I raced on and it has been repaved and is fantastic layout. Who's up for it?? I was taking friday off to practice anyway so I will use that to travel- race saturday and trave home Sunday- the usual Bazai run to Summit Point.

How long of a trip is it from Atlanta to Summit? Do you know if they are still going to have the open practice at Barber? I was taking Friday off as well so I may as well go somewhere.

Really sucks about Barber. Hope to see a good turn out at Summit.

I can verify it is about 9 hours from Atlanta to Summit Point. All depends on how you fare on I85 through Charlotte area.

I guess my question should have been,Will there be a practice day on Friday at Summit?
If it is run by someone other than WERA,what is the cost?
    Thanks,Tom

    YAM#849 y'all watch this...

    go for it!

I hope everyone who is able will make the Summit event one to remember. That's absolutely a bummer about Barber- I don't know what in the heck the track people are thinking, but you just don't treat racers ( CUSTOMERS!) like that. On a brighter note, Summit is absolutely a blast. I sure wish I could go, but I'd need a travel day each way, which I can't manage right now.

BTW, does this shorten the southeast schedule, or could we pick up another date somewhere? What about making CMP count for SE as well as MA??? I love CMP.

    Hi,Buff,
Sorry, but I won't be at Summit. This is the first time in 10 years of racing that I'll miss a Summit race,I think.Tina is serious to race again (a two year layoff since she's had our wonderful Tatiana, now 16 months old and a right proper rugrat)and would like to ride some Fasttrax practice stuff first before she races again.
