What gives an SV singular reign over all other models/types worthy of being beaten, thrashed, ridden into the dirt and tossed aside - busted crank not withstanding?
A POS is a POS. I've ridden plenty of 'em...and always a gear higher than their owners. I would absolutely annihilate an SV field from the back row.

I declare all SV-riding, once-in-a-never-while Ducati-riding winners equally ineligible.

My understanding is that older generation may feel the EX500 was a worthy challenge to thrash, duck tape & safety wire past tech and go back racing....
