There have been reports that he is awake but they are false, Fiona posted on FB that he is not awake and status is still the same.

 

Hi Folks- "back home" Im known as Frosty. Im one of Shauns current sponsors. (actually His main sponsor at the moment.) He's also a darn good friend in the real world.
The facts at this point in time are that Shaun was riding a GSXR600 converted to a 450 in a class called superlite. He won 5 of 6 races in previous rounds so was back onto his old form. During practice for the meeting at Levels raceway in Timaru. Shaun High sided at a right hand hairpin Unfortunately .he took the major part of the impact directly on the top/front of his helmet. He was airlifted to the nearest Major hospital and put into an induced coma in ICU.
Really he has no other injuries other than a crack in his tailbone.
Im sorry but in respect to family I won't share more right now. Except to say things are looking a fair bit more positive and he is acting like a grumpy git.
