Looks like it does, adds to it that he's got the foot planted pretty well. I'd sure like to give it a try.
Some of the shit that ends up in those boards is hilarious.. The 5guys upt street from me used to have ones that said things like "I love 5 guys in my mouth" and stuff like that.. Freaking hilarious.
I don't know what people like about those shitty cookies but Aldi sells copies of many of them for cheaper money all year long. Screw the Girl Scouts and their tiny dry cookies.
It's not about the cookies, it's about supporting the Girl Scouts. The cookies are just like any other fundraiser, not great and greatly overpriced.
Roughly, per box; $.55 per box to the troop $1.00 per box to manufacture The rest to GSA It's a great way for the org to line their pockets.
Which as stated is generally what fundraisers are for. The GSA uses that money for services back to the scouts including maintenance costs on the camps etc. Yeah, some of it goes to run the org, but you can't run something that big using only volunteers. Even if you could you still need office space, postage, legal costs, etc.
My wife was a GSA leader...many years ago. She often complained that the local troop saw no benfit to selling the cookies. It all went into the national.
