There is no factory Honda outside of MotoGP. The superbikes are all built and developed by the teams not HRC or the factory.

Haven't seen a good shot of the rear of the bike, but they definitely weren't running stock forks. Those are either 30mm NIX or gas-charged carts up front based on those fork caps.
Yes ,I saw that. And I was surprised the rear shock was a completely stock unit,they did not even change the spring!I don't think Waters had a reason to lie,though.
Well, you also have to remember that Waters is a World class rider with multiple ASBK Championships on his resume. So as long as the bike is decent, he would be fast on it.
