Did the tire go off, or was there a large enough gap back to the next rider that he could ease by a bit? I didn't see the time gap between Aleix and the next guy. I just looked, finish time gap was ~3seconds. not sure if A or B.
I'd think easing up would lead to a jump in lap times which would then hold steady, not a persistent worsening of lap times. Also, that's a mighty bit of easing off........he gave up 8 seconds (from his previous pace) over the last four laps.
You are probably correct. For some reason I thought it a pronounced drop only on the last 2 (easing up), not the last 4-5 (tires going off)
I didn’t think he would near the front, but I forgot he won here last year, and has the lap record. Also spent 2 days testing at Misano recently.
Anyone else having tech issues? Logged into MotoGP, but video won't play. Watch on my Kindle, as always for years...
