It will be the Duc 800 monster. That air cooled 2 valver can make plenty of hp. Get the bouncers sorted out and throw on some bodywork and it will be a capable bike
It doesn't make sense that the 848 would be legal. That would be the most dominant bike in the class. If you were going to do that, why not just make the 959 legal and make it the Ducati cup like they have in Europe?
Plus as it's been pointed out several times they don't even make that bike any more and haven't in years
It's now a 2.2L, though. And there's no front rotor at all. And the fuel is in the fork legs. Because revolutionary.
Take a track like NJMP. Times on these bikes will be a few ticks under the 1:30 mark, depending on who the fast guys are. Call it a 1:30 for easy math. A 107% cutoff puts it at a :36, 110% puts it at a :39. 120% is a friggin :48. That is at the slow end of an intermediate track day group on any motorcycle. All MA racing should utilize a 107% cutoff IMO.
