I would say it isn't a good sign that they sold off Corti's B bike already and the A bike is for sale. But since there is a new model with internal engine upgrades, they would probably be building out the new model anyway?

 

I figured they'd be starting with new bikes instead of building up last years from STK to SBK.

 

Wouldn't the 2016 WSBK bikes be legal in AMA? Is IODA back in WSBKs next year?

 

I don't think the rules line up perfectly just yet, but I'm not the expert.

 

I'm not either but Rainey said at the Honda presser that the only thing he knew of different besides the tires was WSBK had more gearbox options.

 

Gonna make it more satisfying to watch Suzuki bitchslap them all season.

That bike looks like it has carbon fiber fairings.....has MA rule books changed for bodywork in 2017 too? I know that all carbon/kevlar bodywork has been outlawed every since DMG took over in 2009.

 

I'm pretty sure a lot of people are running carbon bodywork

In racing at this level, they start with new bikes.

 

I like this slow return back to more "SUPER" superbikes.

 

I'm pretty sure Graves ran their old R1's for several years in a row.

 

A few years ago, under "those people" there was no reason not to. Motoamerica has started to turn it from a battle of meat hammers back towards a battle of x-acto knives in a phone booth. Woo!
