Mazzy Star..??

94??? im pretty sure i was listening to her in 88 or so. the towson sytate radio station was a real college station and played them a bit. they played the alt, industrial, punk had some bulegrass show on sundays maybe, and introduced me to stuff from public enemy mazzy star, negativland, and waaay waaay back the b52s bauhaus etc... they promoted local bands like berserk, the almighty senators, red dye#9, grey march. i saw them all at the student union at one time or another. they also hosted national acts like zappa, stray cats, and acdc. i had a friend who djd there for communications class and they devolved into wtmd which blows. man you could have a nice weekend in a dorm back in college with that first mazzy cd and a charlotans cd. lol.

 

What the hell is the point sitting in a dorm room alone listening to that stuff all weekend?

 

Well... most dudes suffered the music to entertain the hot girls... now we’ve never met... but if you weren’t in the company of hot girls when that music was on I have some bad news for you...

 

Wellll…..they weren’t all “hot”…..but they were girls.

 

Just because the person was wearing mascara and black lipstick, doesn’t mean it was female…

 

He only wore their colors that way they could always share...

He was trying to score man... he had dudes listening to Mazzy Star with him... he was in like Flynn
