My son has moved to Pennsylvania for 2 years so I figured I needed a long haul bike for visits. Found an 05 FJR with 15K miles for $3300 so I jumped on it. I've only ridden it about 50 miles but it moves along like a cruise missile. Actually the damn thing is sneaky fast. I gave her a blast on the X-way headed to work this morning and when I looked down I was at 120. Damn thing barely felt like it was moving upload pictures
^ Nice! I've always wanted one of those, but I don't actually go anywhere. Someday! Killer deal, too!
Between Rich Oliver's place and American Supercamp I've had some of my best times on a TTR125. I bought a new one in December and turned it into this. Its just too much fun.
Actually I have. Checked into all the paperwork and it isn't too bad. Just looking for a good day to do it. Probably mid to late October is best here.
That’s a steal for that. I’d buy one at that price just to keep loaded up with gear and clothes for a quick escape If I get booted out of the house
I'm in Louisville, and I'd probably do a loop that went west towards Missouri and then head back up through Tennessee. Whatever has the least amount of traffic.
man i knew the front end was steep on those 250s but dayyum thats looks 5 degrees off from perpendicular :0
I’ve had this thing over a year but never posted pictures. I’ve only got to ride it four times It’s one of the 2014 Rider’s Discount bikes. I need to come up with a graphics scheme. It’s still got the previous owners stickers on it.
Seen a lot of bikes come through here over the years. Short of some of boccarp's beauties, those two RD Triumphs had me drooling quite a bit. Glad to hear one found its way to another member here.....
Thank you. I love it. The only bike I’ve lusted after more than this one was that monster RSV4 Boccarp built. I saw it was for sale recently, and for less than I paid for this one. If I had the cash free I’d jump on that thing and have both dream bikes!
