Getting back to the topic at hand. Looking back over the posts on this subject I noticed that there was some thought that the lap times hadn't changed too much since the reconfiguration of Talladega. In fact there was quite a difference. Tray set the record time of 56.55 seconds in the summer of 1995.It seems that at least a second or so has been added. That was also obviously on the old bumpy surface. It was set on the Valvoline 750 Suzuki superbike that he rode to I believe an 8th place finish in the AMA superbike national in St.Louis. Just thought I would add my .02 worth.
