Ok reviving this thread. What actually worked. My lab is worthless but I'm really digging the garden hose on the scooter exhaust but it sounds like that's been tried without success.

 

I have good luck using poison.

 

Can’t @Dave K just crawl down the hole and strangle them with his bare hands?

 

Buckwild and a hose took care of them if my memory is correct.
But sadly Buck is no longer around so now I’m dealing with lizards and wild rabbits.

Scissor trap worked great for me. It killed the fattest mole I've ever seen. The thing was as big as a 2 week old kitten.
