Josh let's do some simple math:

$20 five minute "race" kart rental

at least two "races" required to qualify and "win" $150

subtract all kart rental expenses for practice, failed "races" where others cheated, you had a flat tire, the other kid was smaller-boned, you were having a bad day, thoughts of Robby Bobby distracted your concentration, etc.

Pretty sure you have "won" no money at all over time and the kart track is the clear winner.
