No, they have nothing against baptists, you seriously can't go more than a few miles in the South without seeing a baptist church.
You don't think it's odd that they only targeted Baptist churches? Seriously, don't you think there were dozens of other denominations' churches in the area they could have chosen?
Isn't there a Title something or another where you MUST burn a representative sample of churches? Arsonists - Freedom of Choice!
I agree. When the guy next door shot his wife the cops actually had the temerity to knock on our door at midnight and ask if we had heard anything. Seriously, how would you expect them to investigate a crime without questioning people? Who knows, maybe her kid was involved?
Yeah......and Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar is going to be charged with a hate crimes, after statements that he "...acted to avenge the American treatment of Muslims." His crimes were targeted against Americans, but that wasn't one of his charges.......... Never happened.......
I thought it seemed odd but I don't know much about Baptists down south. If they avoided other denominations on purpose I'm sure it will come out during their interrogation. You are right, if they'd targeted congregations who mostly belonged to any minority group, people assuming racism, or some sort of ism was involved, would be much more likely. That is logical, no?
It's a quantity thing I'm sure. They'd have to actually make a huge effort to find another denomination out in the woods where they'd be able to get away with the arson.
Wait...logic? They were young guys out messin' stuff up. Probably beer involved. Whatever. Stupid, yeah. Logic? No.
I meant if minority groups were targeted it would be logical for others to suspect the kids were racists.
Why? Mabye they just though it was funny. Maybe they didn't like one guy. Why can't it just be dumb? Hate crimes...I mean, that's just stupid. Crime is a crime. Idiots to stupid things. Punish them accordingly.
If a majority group was specifically targeted by minority thugs specifically because of the race of the majority group... That would still be racist.
