so.. uh.... i think i just found my next bike... sounds like this thing is going into production?!?
On Pikes Peak, that thing is going to be fucking insane ✊
i’m still surprised one of the fast guys hasn’t brought out a V4 tuono
Rennie Scaysbrook is this year.
Don't really know all that much about Pikes Peak, but why do the heavyweight bike classes seem to lean on standard bikes? Rules say it just has to be minimum of 851 cc and 4 or less cylinders......
Since the course is fully paved now, what's to stop somebody from running a tits-out superbike like the V4R up the mountain?
Handlebars I guess?
They have a "handlebar" rule. All the bikes must have a handlebar (from the factory) instead of clipons. I believe it was to show that they're doing something about preventing people from bringing superbikes up there. It's a weird way to do it, but the end result is some really cool bikes.
waiting for midlife crisis to kick in so i can go buy this
Give me wings.
Looks good, damn good
Then just build a badass superbike and stick handle bars on it...call it the v4r likes peak and sell 12 of then to Ducati fans. Then they can run one up PP.
I mean, that's exactly what they just did. Except they're gonna sell a lot more than 12 of them
That's what they did.
edit, dammit too slow
The only thing i don't like is the front end. Didn't like it on the original street fighter either. I'd still own one but I just don't love the way it looks. I hope they put that motor in the Supersport and make a kick ass sport tourer.
The head unit looks like it's from a Z1000. Meh. The rest of it looks good though and it seems like a blast to ride.
He’s getting grass stains on his leathers. That’s never gonna come out. ;-)
Needs more wings! hmmm how to fit a rear tire cooler?
looks like a shrunk 1199 mask.
i have not expected any different...
I'm trying to understand what's going on here with this new bike, but my eyes hurt too much.
