Race two was a barn burner, looks like Melandri and Haslam took each other out down the stretch. Rea took the win.
I never said it wasn't great racing. I was just watching the timing screen, so I was only guessing what happened. Which is why I said it "looks like".
Goddamn wrecking ball. I guess it was no accident the first time he bumped Melandri out of the way earlier in the race.
I would really like to have EuroSport2 in the states. I turned on speed today in the hopes there might be some racing on and instead they had a Soccer match. Does anyone know a "legal" way to get EuroSport here?
Only thing I can think of would be to find a way to use the Eurosport Player service. Someone had mentioned that it's possible to do that from the states by using a proxy server.
I turn on an Amazon EC2 instance in Ireland and then just nail up an SSH tunnel to it and have Firefox use the SSH tunnel asa SOCKS Proxy server. I then paid Eurosport the monthly subscription fee and then I can watch all of the British eurosport channels.
Just had a long chat with James Whitham about it. Once we've all had a few hours to reflect a bit, things clear up. But yes, some DAMN good racing at Dony this weekend. -jim
