Well first case confirmed in my county and a neighboring county this morning. Also first case confirmed at the prison in Danemora which makes me worry because my oldest daughters boyfriend is a newly minted CO and that's where he works.

I now personally know three people in Jupiter who tested positive, were very sick, and are now recovering. I don't think I had any contact with them in the last two weeks

 

While I am fine someone close to me is not. The progression is important and I have permission to share:

two week ago bad cold with fever
would not go away after one week
went to doc last monday and got test for everything excluding Wuhan Flu, all negative
when home
by friday lungs filled with fluid and fever raging
admitted saturday morning
on O2 until this morning
moved to IC and put on respirator, no improvement

just over 40, healthy lungs, unhealthy body (fat, sedentary).

scary stuff.

 

I think sedentary is a very bad scenario combined with this. Non medical opinion of course.

When all this started I was at about a pack of Reds a day.

I am now down to 4 a day after a week. Plan to fully stop within two weeks.

We will all come out of this as different people.
