I have finally decided to sell my R6. If anyone wants a weapon for the GNF, this would be a good one. The bike is currently located at Livengood Motorsports. I am also selling a lot of spares with it (the spares are also at Livengood's). They are selling the bike for me, so it will need to be picked up from there. The bike was just refreshed (the only miles on the motor are from the dyno break-in). Suspension, brake pads, chain/sprockets, etc have all been recently changed (only one weekend on them). The bike is a 2008 year model, but at this point that really only applies to the frame, as damn near everything has been changed/refreshed. Here is a rundown: Livengood Stage III Superbike motor (including Carrillo Rods) - 143hp and 53ft/lbs. Dyno sheet can be provided with the bike if desired (just ask Brian, he has them on the dyno computer). Livengood spec undercut Transmission Graves Velocity Stacks Yoyodyne Slipper Clutch Yamaha Kit ECU and Harness Marchesini Genesi 7-spoke Forged Aluminum wheels (the Aluminum 7-spoke Genesi wheels are lighter than the 10-spoke Magnesium ones) Ceramic bearings Ohlins 30mm kit in the forks Ohlins TTX shock Motion Pro quick-turn Throttle Woodcraft clip-ons and Brake Lever Guard Lightech Levers with remove Brake Adjuster Aftermarket lightweight subframe (powder coated black) Full Ti Graves exhaust Ballistic lightweight battery Dynojet Power Commander Dynojet Quickshifter (GP Shift) and Ignition Module Brembo 19x18 Master Cylinder SS Brake lines Performance Friction Brake Pads Galfer Superbike Rotors Lightened rear Rotor Pitbull Damper Driven keyless gas cap Case covers WitchKraft Captive Wheel Spacers (for quick wheel changes) BMC Race filter 520 chain/sprockets Race spec Ti bolts in many places Sharkskinz bodywork painted by Swenson Also comes with: Extra Marchesini Genesi rear wheel (wheel is complete with lightened rear Rotor, sprocket carrier and sprocket). *This wheel already has an unused Pirelli Slick mounted on it. OEM Front wheel complete with Rotors. *This wheel has a new Pirelli Rain tire mounted on it. Extra Gas tank painted to match (it has a small dent in the back from my balls, picture attached) Extra Skarkskinz bodywork plus windscreen 2 spare front Fenders New-in-box SBS brake Pads New-in-box Ballistic lightweight Battery New-in-box CRG Brake and Clutch levers Extra OEM Seat Graves Superbike Seat (in case someone wants to run SBK bodywork) Extra clutch spring (in case someone wants to add more engine braking) New-in-box Grips Yamaha Oil Filter Extra Clip-on Bar The beauty of this motor isn't just the power or how fast it revs, it is the tune. Brian has tuned it so the power is very useable. Timing has been removed at lower throttle inputs to make it easier to pull off apex, but then it rips once you get more vertical. The bike was originally a street bike, then it was stripped to the frame and rebuilt into a purpose built race bike to make it easier to work on and crash worthy. Wires have been rerouted, access ports drilled for the Gas Tank bolts and rear Shock mounting bolt, rear caliper made captive for quick wheel changes, so on and so forth. Price for everything: $9,400 Anyone that has spec’ed and priced one of these motor builds knows the motor itself is worth more than the asking price for everything. I have no intentions of selling any of the spares individually, or taking anything off the bike. I am selling everything as a complete package.
RE: Title Yes......and no. The bike has been registered and was a street bike first. I had the clear title in hand. But my house was destroyed by flooding. All the titles were in the desk upstairs, and the demolition company took what was salvageable out of the house and to their facility. I have asked them to look through all of it and see if the title is there and in good shape. I didn’t mention it in the ad because they haven’t gotten back to me yet. I suppose they are still looking. It isn’t stolen or anything like that. I paid cash for it and had the title in hand until the house flooded.
I haven't made up my mind yet. I will probably sell the 1299S also, then replace both of them with 2 of the same thing (primary and a backup). Im just not sure what though.
BMW is coming out with a new 1K. Nothing too exciting on the 600cc front unfortunately. I would like to see what Triumph does (765R) or if BMW gets in the 600cc game.
Dude, I’d be on that like stink on shit! I’ve always wished they would make a Daytona 800R, that would be close enough.
