Best MotoGP races of all time

I just purchased the MotoGP videopass, so I have access to every race from 92 on now. What are some of the best races from that year on to watch? I didn't start watching regularly until the mid 2000's.

 

Lots of good races in 93... the first race in Australia was pretty good.

 

Any of them before they outlawed 2-strokes would be my vote........ :up:

 

Don't know that it was that great of a race, but Phillip Island 2003 (or 2004? Nicky's first year in GP, I think.) was a pretty mind-blowing performance by Rossi.

Laguna 2006 was Rossi vs Stoner at the Corkscrew, I believe.

There was a pretty great battle at Assen one of the last years that Edwards rode for Camel Yamaha, can't remember the year though.

Actually many of the recent moto3 races are better than MotoGP races.

No, 2008. In 2006 Stoner was on a satellite Honda. Hayden won the race that year.

2006, battle with Hayden. The only non-Laguna race that Hayden won.

Another great race - Suzuka 2001. 500cc, Biaggi runs Rossi off track, Rossi gives finger and....

 

Any 250cc race where Bautista and Simoncelli went at it

 

That's the first race I watched when I got it. I was actually at that race. Nicky's championship year. The Rossi/Stoner Corkscrew battle was 07 I believe...

Catalunya 2009. Was fortunate enough to have been there, the tension built all the way until that last corner...madness ensued

 

I watched that Assen race this morning, haha. Amazing finish!

 

oh yeah...if you can see 125cc...2010 Estoril

 

Gifted.....he was gifted that one (both the race win and the MotoGP title in that one corner). That should have been CEII first (and only) MotoGP win.


He was still in the lead here with like 1/2 a corner left FFS!!!! Also, I'm pretty sure if Colin didn't fall off here and actually crossed the finish line first, Hayden would have also lost the title to Rossi since they would have been tied for points and Rossi had more wins that year.

 

Hayden went into race management mode for the last race of 2006... He could have pushed for 2nd or 1st if he needed it.

Just sayin...

 

What was the race where rossi passed max and gave him the finger?

 

He certainly could have tried, whether or not he could have succeeded is an entirely other story
