Unfortunately and in spite of what Maduro says, no one cares enough about that place to put the money and time into it. Their oil is shit and when Saudi oil is so cheap, no one wants to waste the extra cash on refining it.

The only chance of someone sending in the arms and expertise to do anything there is if the shit really hits the fan. Or Isis takes hold.

or oil hits $200 a barrel.

Didn't Obama allow them to come drill in the Gulf where we can't? I thought they were there drilling good oil?

No idea on if PDVSA is allowed to drill in the gulf but have they ever brought a new oil field online? I remember them just using fields developed by others after nationalization. I could be wrong on that. No one is going to spend the Millions to develop new fields there when the government is just going to nationalize it and throw you out.

It's been years since I spent any time on crude grading but their crude was high in sulfur and "heavy" crude. It had to be "cut" with light and heavy sold for less $$$.

I'm sure Broome can speak on all that oil grades and shit much better than me.

You are absolutely correct when it comes to how tough it is for a country decide to fight for it's freedom. Since the details of the battles, both physical and political, of freedom in the US is not taught in schools most people simply do not know how delicate our freedom was for decades and decades. We just didn't "spring up as a free country" when the Constitution was signed, we continued to fight, not only among ourselves, but with England, Canada, and others for decades after 1776.

For a long time we could have gone another direction as to how this country was to be governed. We are extremely lucky that we ended up as we did. That is one of the reasons that I personally am so against Socialism/Communism and those that support it here in the US. These kind of idealistic battles have been present since the beginning of our history. To me people like Bernie Sanders falls into the evil class of citizens. His ideals are just warped but he's just too dumb to know it.

My absolute fav regarding Bernie and Ve. is how he quickly turned his back on using that country as an example of socialism after it's fall. "I'm running for President of the USA, not Ve.!"

LMAO! Makes me smdh every time when some dumbass talks his shit up.

And, whomever may believes so, or that if only it were to be tried their way, it would clearly work is a narcissist.

Why did we need to destroy it.

We have the best in-practice communism that the world has ever seen.
Have you seen our welfare system? Our success of distribution based on need is unsurpassed or unequal. Take your pick.

You want through socialism, join the US military. Effort is reward, time or rank. A free meal, a bed, clothes...
