Im making pizza for dinner, standard meat lovers, and a loaded potato pizza. Potato chunks, covered in a spicy ranch and nacho cheese dip, bacon bits then a little sour cream on the side. It sounds funny but it's actually really good.

 

Pineapple, bacon (or pepperoni) and jalapeno is one of my favorite pizzas

I make pizza 2-3x a month, with a sourdough I make from scratch. Here's a good one from a few weeks ago.

 

I reject everything about the idea of pineapple on a pizza but at least this one looks visually appealing and not like "bring your own pizza to kindergarten."

 

NO fruit or fish on pizza.

 

Tomatoes are fruit.

Stang's pizza looks the part but I am not a fan of pepperoni. Salami or dry-cured ham, mushroom and jalapeno may be on the bill for the weekend.
I too have been using a sourdough for pizza for the past year and really like it (when I don't over-ferment it in the reefer for a week).

 

When it comes to pizza, less is more. Greasy, stringy cheese is all you need.

 

Ain't no guy named Lorenzo or Carmine who bakes fruit on his pizza.

I had a pizza with clam on it a few weeks back, from a semi-fancy Italian restaurant. Clams, garlic creme, tarragon, lemon, chili flakes. It was good. But it was def not a pizza I could eat a lot of.

 

I like clam and white sauce flat bread but just can’t call it a pizza. Like chicken, red onion, a garlic sauce, it ain’t pizza but it’s good.

pineapple and pizza it’s not pizza, call it something else as to not offend us old fucks. I nominate “ghey!!!” for what it can be called.
