Looking into getting a smoker street legal bike. Anyone has any project or ready to go bikes sitting around? Tnx Alex
I have an 86 TZR 250, not a project. It's plated and titled. http://picasaweb.google.com/rumblestripradio/TZR250 http://picasaweb.google.com/rumblestripradio/TZ250BodyWork http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3hV-nXR5Y8 I am thinking about selling it and buying a diesel.
Alex, why not try a NSR250? As far as I've seen, there are a little more common, there is more info on them and better parts support. If you insist on a TZR, you might want to try these guys... http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/TZR/?yguid=131033725
hey Matt, I tried calling you another day. Did you change your number? Dunno, a TZR is very close to a TZ which I am somewhat familiar, so I dont have to learn new shit. Did you get R1 back up and running?
The R1 is still in pieces. It'll stay that way for a while. I've got some things I need to take care of before getting back on the bike. I'm hoping to be back at Cycle Jam, but it's not looking good right now. Yeah, I think I changed my cell since we've talked last. You've got a PM.
I have a very clean stock 1992 R model TZR250 that I'm finishing up restoring. It needs a fuel tank to be complete, I've been using the one of my TZR250 SP racebike. The R model has a clean Ohio title. I'd like to trade it for a TZ250 ...got one of those?
Wasn't this bike in Cycle World about 10 years ago? I think it was some article about twins in America.
Yep, I worked with Biganski back in those days and helped build the bike for a friend of ours. I just recently bought it from him.
SCVTZ, Nice bike. What did you guys do to de-tune it or make it more streetable? Still 1K miles for crank life? I thought TZ made barely enough to power itself, how is teh headlight wired in?
