2019 MotoGP fantasy league

Well, if I had picked what I picked in other thread, I'd be sitting pretty. As it stands, I'm not 100% sure how things are scored so I'm just hanging tight until scoring is updated.

 

Not bad. Happy to salvage a top 10 out of that mess. I thought I'd be way worse, but apparently some of you suck even more lol

 

That scoring is weird.
I got 1st, 2nd and 4th spot on and all got 12 pts each.

 

I retarded my way into 14th.

Greenhound is bringing up the rear in 22nd.

Does the site still include the Q penalty that was being discussed? If so, my 3rd for this rd may just be a product of locking my picks in early and not actual position.

 

no, our group doens't use the penalty.

 

Right, but I thought that's why Big Bird was going to keep score in here because the site does use it.

 

I could be wrong, but I thought the site in general uses the q penalty, as well as only scoring top 10. Big Bird got the site admin to make our group score top 15 and ditch the q penalty.

 

Wow I am not sure how I ended up in 9th but I will take it.

 

Both in the top 10 after round 1 we might look like sandbaggers. No worries my friends, sit back and watch the wheels will fall off in no time

I was worried my placing of Quatararo and Crutchlow would hurt as Q placed lower than anticipated and Crutchlow podiumed.

 

Yeah that’s what happened to me last year... I was not always last but ended up being way behind

 

Here's the unpenalized scores from the developer: Please see if it makes sense. I think this is more like golf, where the lowest score wins, or I hope so in my case

And for the future, changes are allowed right before racetime by the developer. Everything seemed to work out well this round, so let's hope this continues this way for the rest of the season!

I had high hopes for the rookies, but yeah...about that starting in pit lane and well Rossi doing old man stuff, and Maverick being Maverick, and Cal not being Cal, and well I'm just bad....

 

And I would just put in a prediction for next race just in case you don't get a chance. 50 points is better than 0
