The RC45 isn't a 'Big Bang' motor, it's a 360 deg. crank, as opposed to a 180 deg. crank. It's why the 86+ VFR's sound really throaty and deep and the 83-85 VF-F, and RC30 and 45 make that flatter raspy sound. Neither are 'big bang' motors.
Not really. A lot of Ohlins SBK forks work that way.....hell even the old Aprilia Cup bikes had that set up. Nothing new under the sun.
what old is new again. Tom Mason, my Michelin tire rep, has this same set up on his 85 FZ750 superbike, which are marzocchi's forks, i believe.
It looks like an ugly version of an R1. the 04-06 is one of the prettiest sportbikes ever...this is...well, not.
i'm curious about how the race bodywork will be. will it have to have the headlights molded in as they apear in stock form?
