I apologize. He got 7th. It was Miller that got 9th and Zarco 10th. It very well could have been the bike but Yamaha also wasn’t the bike to be on here last year. It did better but not much from the winner.
I am thinking they could get really lucky and nail the set up right off the bat and get a top 10. By right off the bat, I mean in the top 10 in P1. Miss it in P1 and you are playing catch up the rest of the weekend. Much more likely he will finish around 12-14th. The grid is too good and too tight top to bottom to be start off over a second off the pace and then make it up. So around 17th?
For sponsors lift the tobacco company ban, let booze in, and pharma. Oh and pot and CBD (after all it cures everything)! Might have to abandon the Qatar round though........or for that round everyone has to ride pure white bikes with just a number. All y'all are welcome.
Booze is allowed in but a "gentleman's agreement" made them leave. Pot is legal some states in the US but not most of the rest of the world. Nix that.
