Thanks. I didn't really want the 5 monitors and the chair doesn't look that great to begin with. Back to plan A. Get the Playseat Evolution with my single monitor and go from there.

 

I'd personally find a better option. I HATED having the bar between my legs.

 

Definitely think about something comfortable, something you want to be sitting in for many hours

 

Nothing like a good triple stint to sort that

update: i was just looking in there and there is complete rigs for sale, check it out, not sure where you are from but i seen a good deal on one from south jersey.

Hopefully you can move the monitor stand closer. You want the monitors to be as close to you as possible.

What's iracing fps rate up to nowadays? Need to go with 144hz or 60 still fine?

 

I'm trying to sort that out.
Valve has settings from 90 to 144.
Though I've read on the forum 100 is optimal.
And overclocking is required.
I've run mine @ 144 and gotten 135 fps.
@ 120 seems it lock in @ 120 fps.
That's where screens have the advantage.
Plug and play.

 

I looked at those rigs and that was a common complaint was you can’t adjust the screens closer. I’d personally go with another rig that has monitor closer or get a free standing monitor stand that is more adjustable and can come closer.

I don’t know the answer. I’d like to get 144 just to be more future proof but cost can always be a factor.

Are you intentionally being stupid? What do you think your eyes are looking at through your rift? I mean, other than blurry screen doors and slow laps times?

Yes, you will want to go with 144 and 1ms response time. If you have 60hz screens, no matter how bad ass of a computer you have, you're only seeing 60FPS.
