Kavanaugh Hearing

There is no "crime" to report at this point. If there was a crime to report it should have been done 30 years ago. Presently all that can be accomplished is to besmirch Kavanaugh's reputation. It's simply extremely dirty politics instigated by the party of dirty politics. They are using the instant gratification of social outrage to do it and Kavanaugh cannot come out of this unscathed because of the social ramifications of being accused of a sexual incident.

 

You might not be thinking this all the way through. We have, once again, reached a point in the social/political development of this country where the division is very strong. Eventually it may change again, as it has in the past a few times, but now we're at a point where people are actually fully voting against another party and not for an individual regardless of party. When a person of either party wins a seat then the expectation is that he will vote for whatever party helped him win. Independents, for all practical purposes, find it very difficult, if not impossible, to win anything so, it's either Democrat or Republican.

I'm very disappointed in the evolution of the Democratic party because of the leadership of the past 30 or so years. The Democrats used to be a caring party that were, for the most part, a simple "tax and spend" party but now they've turned very pro Socialist, even though most of them will not admit that, so we're at a political evolution point where it really is a heated battle for the future of the US as we now know it.

 

With thousands of years of texts and history, that means the first Americans crossing the Bering straight were voting with this political philosophy of division. Damn, that is fucking brilliant.

 

I know a lot of people who call themselves Independents and they all vote Democrat.

 

I consider myself independent. I almost never vote repub or dem for local elections, however national elections are different.

News flash guy. Guess which side the independents are on. There are only two. I can give you hint. If you think that this is anything like the years past. You’re mistaken.

They’ve already said there will be an investigation. Even if he’s confirmed. That’s thier playbook. Democrats have to have the court because they can’t pass laws through Congress. Thier views are not shared by the majority of America. So they must use the courts. If another SC seat opens up with Trump or a Republican in the WH, the Dems are finished for a long long while.

 

Well one of the "sides" said there was no pattern of devious conduct, so it was like pulling up to The Sonic and placing an order for one more accuser.

The bar is pretty low when you can say something happened to you, but you don't actually know if it happened to you. Wonder which "side" she has been on since she got out of collage.

It was a big mistake to allow any testimony from an accuser, now they've opened themselves up to an endless stream of accusations all requiring more time to investigate.

I will repeat what I said two days ago.

Its over. This pick has been lost. Trump and Kavanaugh have lost. Its all just motions now. The Republicans will cave. Oct 1 will come and that's that. Then the dems have a small wave in the mid terms and then nothing happens for two years but investigation after investigation of Trump as the economy sours back to its Democrat "utopia" level.

The only protection we had against progressive tyranny was the SCOTUS and it was just taken by those with high cunning and low morals. Garland has been avenged.
