There's too many words in one for you.

This actually happened to me last weekend. I was at a Dunkin Donuts drive thru, when I pulled up to pay the cute cashier/window attendant girl, she says " the lady in front of you bought your meal". I didn't know what to do. The cutie says, "you can pay for the person behind you if you'd like". I said sure and then she says "that will be $28.xx". It was a minivan behind me with a middle-aged woman. I know that made her day...

Fuck me, I paid almost 30 bucks instead of my $5 coffee and breakfast sandwich... I'm not a fan of this process! Still waiting for my good karma to come back around haha

Try telling that to the bank that holds your mortgage and car loan.

Another response could be buying an extra meal or coffee or whatever you're getting, and giving it to someone on the street who really needs it as you drive to wherever you're going.

Do you think that he feels that if he looks up one word he has to look up all the rest of the words also?

Am I required to stop when I give it to them?
If not, what's a reasonable speed for the handoff? I have somewhere to go.

How could you say that about GG? He's probably used every one of them and in one post too! ;)

I have done that exactly once. The guy got all pissed off that I gave him food rather than money.
    First and last time.

I prefer to contribute to someone that has directly helped me. Got my haircut a couple of weeks ago for the first time in months, gave $10 tip for a $15 cut. Same with carryout. Gave my local Mexican food owner $10 on a $10 lunch. These guys are hurting and I'm not, what doesn't seem like much to me could be huge to them. But just paying for random people is weird to me.

Not at all, he'll have an aneurism when he sees that many words on a page.

Not bashing you but here's a thought for all: It's easy to give to someone who has given to you. But giving to someone who owes you nothing is an unselfish act of generosity.

Kindness isn't a repayment, it's giving when nothing is owed.

Similar story, but even worse, dude had a "sympathy dog" with him... I gave him a big bag of dog food samples. He was not amused.

I don't disagree with that at all. Gave $10 to a beggar lady the other day. What I'm saying is that paying for the car behind you is kind of weird because for all you know they're headed to the country club.
