Killer joke but you might actually look into that. For one thing it is called the 'Spanish Inquisition' for a reason. While the generic inquisition was a thing back then the abuse was isolated to Spain. Read up on the history of it vs the memes/jokes and one liners it is actually interesting. The interesting thing to me is the wide variance on events from various sources.
