I avoid these problems by leaving my wife at home in the kitchen where she belongs. You noticed there's no smiley face at the end of the previous sentence.
My wife refers to herself as my "pit chick", and I love having her there with me. She's probably attended 10-15 events. We've done a few events as a small family now, but it's nice to have some kind of amenities for them.
Oh, I get what your saying. It's just that I bring my daughter along for that. My wife is the last person on this planet that I want at the track.
The track is really fun, especially if you like going fast. I can only imagine what it's like with new pavement.
They normal have just normal 93 in the tanks. But on more than one occasion on the past the tanks shut down. Just like a Roebling earlier this year. Ride safe, AAron
That's cool but unless it is an emergency, why would you buy pump gas at the track for that kind of upcharge?
I asked the question for the convenience of not having to haul in enough filled gas cans to run 2 endurance bikes, but it sounds like that's the best bet so we'll do that. If it were dependable, I don't mind paying an extra $1/gallon for the convenience. Go to a gas pump in a marina, now that's a markup!
That’s what I figured and I know lots of teams that rely on the fuel trackside even tho it’s a little more. That’s why I mentioned it. Ride safe, AAron
See that is something I truly don't get from racers - team made up of three riders should easily have enough cans for a four hour. Hell I have enough in the garage for a 6 hour on a 1k and I don't race
My comment certainly wasn’t. That’s awesome you can bring your grrrrl with you to the track. It’s a big help, no doubt; tire warmers go on and come off by themselves, your shoulders get rubbed for some reason &etc.
