This is quite silly on my part. Every time Steeltoe refers to Caucasians as whypeepo I lol. It looks and sounds funny to me. So I co-opted it. If I offended you, I apologize. Truly.
Dont you see it your way? I provided links that supported my argument. You see your way and there's no moving from how you feel about it. So why if i see it a different, way i'm wrong? I dont see any concrete evidence that supports your arguments. All i see are opinions. You can say what you want, but the truth is yes, when it all comes down to it, what we ALL say in the Dungeon are opinions.
You miss understood what I said. To clarify, i've been saying i feel that you guys cant seem understand how it may feel coming from the other side of Trump words. How about an American that's Muslim? How do you think he/she feels about Trump's words?
Of course I see it my way, as does everyone. But I’m open to considering other sides if they present something I haven’t considered. You’re not. You’ve stated as much numerous times, and literally every time you’re proven incorrect. Hell, in this instance you’ve even gone so far as to change the very definitions of words to fit your opinion of what was actually said, even while providing the entire text. Trump didn’t call all Mexicans rapists ... fact. He didn’t disparage and entire country ... fact. What you claim as your opinion of what he said is clearly disproven through the very same text you posted. But instead of accepting the fact that you’re just making shit up to be offended by and paint him in the light you want him painted in, you just switch to ... “it’s my opinion”. It’s not opinion when it’s proven to be factually incorrect ... it’s just wrong.
You used feel three times here. Its not that I misunderstood you. Its that we think differently. I dont live in a world of feelings or where I consider the feelings of others when it comes to running the country and leading. Now, you probably think that is odd. However, its not as odd as you think: “If I spent all my time thinking about it, I’d beparalyzed,” Barack Obama told me. “And frankly, the voters would justifiably say, ‘I need somebody who’s focused on giving me a job, not whether his feelings are hurt.’” Hmmm. But, since you ask how do I think it feels I will do my best to answer. It feels the same as when I was called deplorable. Its the same as I feel for being labeled racist for selecting Trump. It feels the same way I feel when I am blamed, with only my skin color as proof, for "rape culture", racism, low performance of minorities in school/jobs, slavery, and every ill suffered by people of color. You see, I live in the real world where people are judged by their performance and not for how they make others feel. Others should try it. It pays a lot more than victim land.
I think nothing he said was about american muslims so they shouldn't have an issue with it other than pointing and laughing like the rest of us.
Actually some of us attempt to link in facts and data at times. I suspect you have done it also though most I recall where about as coherent as the quoted post.... and that coming from me
I taught my kids to never be a victim. I taught them that being offended is a personal choice...don't ever choose to be offended. If you decide to get offended, you just gave your adversary power...never give them the satisfaction.
Sean, he's a petty minded individual. So far he's bullied his way into getting other people to do what he wants. Whether or not his propensity to bully others is by design is moot. He's simply running amuck with his mouth flapping constantly and I, for one, am getting really tired of it. For those of you that think that no one else can do what he's getting done are simply wrong. Does the chaos and confusion that he causes not bother you at all? Wouldn't it be really nice to have a President that's calm, business like, with a firm, but amiable way about him? I think so. I know, I know, having those things is something that's not likely to occur but that doesn't mean that we can't continue to look for someone that offers those traits nor does it mean that we have to constantly put up with a leader that shuns them. For too long we've only been offered liars, socialists, and criminal minded people that only care for their own advancement. Ah hell. I'm getting tired of discussing Trump. For me, his only redeeming value is that he's getting some positive things done. Other than that, I do not like the sob.
I really hate to see you, and others, feel that way. Hell, Osama Bin Laden did a hell of a lot for his own people yet he was a sorry ass killer of anyone he didn't like. Was he good or bad? Simply getting "results" isn't the only part of the game that matters. It's also how one goes about doing it. If Trump was even tempered, yet forceful, completely adult in his way of thinking and speaking, one that refuses to be drawn into petty little name calling battles yet, still gets his agenda completed, he would be a President that I would fully support. As it is he gets the half support of a lot of us voters that sigh and worry that he was the best choice at the time. As long as the damn Democrats keep drifting toward far left Socialist ideas I will hold my nose and vote for Trump again. This is a hell of a conundrum that we face isn't it?
