Not familiar... My Seamaster came from Jomashop (great discount but no factory warranty). I bought the Speedmaster at an Omega Boutique so she is fully factory backed.

This is coming from a Timex guy, so take it for what it's worth. I used to sell software to office supply companies and got talked into a nice Gold Monte Blanc, when I was probably only 22 or 23. Back in the mid 80's, it was $2-300. I felt it was pretentious too, and it probably is more so than a watch, but no one cared. I like that watch, and it isn't like the Daytona with all the diamonds and emeralds, etc on it, it looks good. Go buy it and enjoy!!!!
I’ve used Jack Alexyon at International Watch Works in Cary NC to relume and refinished my old Tag 2000 quartz (high school graduation gift). Internationalwatchworks.com. He did a great job.
I referred a guy to my watchmaker friend a while ago for a Tag issue. He told him to send it directly to Tag, and never have an AD repair it. His reasoning is that the factory guys aren’t really watchmakers per se, and that it’s not worth their time to take things apart. He said in most instances you’ll end up with at an entirely new movement for about the same as repairing it.
So basically they will just swap out my current movement for a new one? Then what do they do with all the old ones? They will have to repair them at some point. I do like the idea of having Tag do all the work. I’m just hesitant about shipping it to NJ. LOL
